Tell us roughly where you are.

No qualification sequence, no automated call blitz, no sales development rep. Ian reads it and replies. If the honest answer is that you can handle it yourself, that's what you'll hear.

Two things worth knowing first

You don't have to talk to us to learn something

The nine service pages and the Knowledge Center are written to be used without us. If your question is "how does a credit freeze work" or "what does an S corp election actually do," the answer is already on the site and it's free.

And we'll tell you when you don't need us. If the real answer is an afternoon of your own work, a licensed attorney, a CPA, or your local Small Business Development Center, that's the answer you'll get. The free tools page exists for exactly that reason.

Send a message

A few sentences is plenty

Describe what's going on in your own words. You don't need to know which service you want, or use the right terminology, or have your documents ready.

"Not sure where to start" is the first option on the list because it's the most common and most reasonable place to be.

Don't send sensitive information through this form. No Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, account passwords, or identity documents. We don't need any of it to start a conversation, and a website form isn't the right channel for it. If something later needs secure document exchange, we'll set that up properly.

What happens next

And what doesn't

What happens

  • Ian reads your message.
  • You get a reply from a person, about your actual situation.
  • If it's a fit, we talk about what's involved and what it costs, before any agreement.
  • If it isn't, you get told where to go instead.

What doesn't

  • No automated call sequence.
  • No sales development rep working a script.
  • No drip campaign you didn't ask for.
  • No pressure to decide on the first conversation.
  • Your email doesn't get sold or shared.

Saving us both time

When we're the wrong call

Better said here than discovered on a call.

  • You want accurate negative information removed from a credit report. It can't be done legitimately, by us or anyone.
  • You're looking for a guaranteed score, approval, amount, rate, or timeline.
  • You want a CPN, a credit sweep, an aged shelf entity, or help presenting inaccurate information to a lender.
  • You need legal representation or legal advice. We provide none, ever.
  • You need tax returns prepared or filed, or representation before the IRS.
  • You want investment or securities advice.

If any of those is what you're after, we'd rather say so now. Several of them are things a reputable firm simply won't do, and anyone who says yes to them is telling you something about themselves.

Questions

Before you send it

Do I need to know what I want?

No. "Not sure where to start" is the first option on the form because it's the most common answer and a perfectly good one.

Most people arrive with one problem and discover a second underneath it. Working out which one to address first is a large part of what we do.

Will I be pushed into buying something?

No. A fair number of these conversations end with a recommendation to handle it yourself, or to speak to an attorney, a CPA, or your local Small Business Development Center, which provides free counseling.

There's no commission structure here that rewards selling you something you don't need.

What does it cost?

It depends entirely on what you need, and a number quoted before anyone has looked at your situation would be a guess dressed up as a price.

Pricing is discussed in the first conversation, before any agreement, and you'll know what's included and what isn't.

Do you work with people in my state?

We work remotely with clients across all 50 states. There's no office you need to drive to.

Credit reporting is federal and so is most of what we cover. Where something is state-specific, like business filings or insurance licensing, we say so and point you at your own state's authority.

How quickly will I hear back?

Usually within a business day. If you're in the middle of an active identity theft incident, start at IdentityTheft.gov today rather than waiting on us. That step unlocks rights you'll need regardless of who helps you afterwards.

I just want to report an error on the site.

Pick "Reporting an error on the site" from the list and tell us what and where. You don't need to be a client and it doesn't put you on any list.

Corrections get made to the page with the review date updated. Our editorial standards explain how that works.
